Eric and Jessica part two ~ A few more favs from Mandy

We had so many keepers from this shoot it was seriously hard to choose... Good luck picking your wall prints guys! We knocked this one out of the park and left you with a plethora of choices:)

You can see that this little booger is super loved... It's days like these that make us love our jobs so much.

Mandy rocks. Enough said. Watch out commercial kids market... Here she comes!

Onion rings, blue cheese and tons of yummy dipping choices... YES PLEASE! We will be back for you

Great shoot you guys. Thanks again!

Eric, Jessica and Isabella ~ An Engagement Shoot With Three

Last week we got to shoot this super cool family. On my calendar it said "Eric and Jessica engagement session." So, I almost forgot that they were bringing their little one along. What a treat and what an awesome baby! I mean we took this kid on what ended up being almost a three hour session and she was so smiley and mellow. The rain hung on to give us some beautiful filtered light. Mmmm, and it was nice. Check out these super cute family shots! On location with baby no less. We are so spoiled to have all of downtown Sacramento at our fingertips.

One of my favs:) They just plopped down here in this spot waiting for us to get our gear out of the car. We were like "don't move!"

Very southern Cali right? Free frozen yogurt for whoever can name these cross streets. Eric and Jess you can't play... Neither can you Amanda!

Mandy workin her magic at the capitol.

Love this one...

I'm telling you, these three were naturals!

She will be off and running in no time.

Isa's thing right now is grabbing dads shnoze. Look at her eye ballin it:)

Favorite shot of the day. No, we did not fly to Arizona.

My favorite of the two love birds. Woohooaa! Moose Drool and my lady!

These two met at Capitol Garage, so we had to do some lovey dovey time there. If you have never eaten there you should! Awesome brunch and thanks to these two we found out how good the onion rings are. It is worth the wait, trust me. Pluse, they have bottomless mimosas! Make sure you have time for a nap after :)

Of course Isabella was not far off. I didn't notice her in my frame here until I was processing. Thank you 35mm 1.4 for this lovely little treat.

Jessica had the most magnificent blue eyes. Bet you can't even tell she had to pee like a race horse here ;)

Thank you guys for the lovely evening! And thanks to Glenda for such a fun referral... So bummed we wont be shooting the wedding, but we know this won't be the last time we get to hang out.

Leia & Phil belly time!

Mandy and I are so excited to have lots of spring newborn sessions right around the corner! I made the connection with this client just in time. Leia and Phil were so great. Both of them were totally mellow and let us move around their house and go through their closet while trusting us completely. I guess we are the professionals... Good thing Mandy has some fashion sense:) Leia is an entomologist. That means she studies bugs. Mandy and I thought this was really cool and I couldn't get over all the awesome bug details in their house. We loved the colorful nursery with all it's personal touches. Hurry up you guys- we just can't wait to come photograph your new baby girl! Thanks for an awesome evening and thanks to Deb Harris for introducing me to Cathy who gave her daughter the gift of photos! Hope to see you in the next few weeks guys;)

Some nursery details... Leia's mom made these when she was 9 years old! How perfect is that?

This reminded us of our cat, Cakes who likes to be the center of attention whenever she gets the chance.

Check out Phil's shoes! Bare feet with protection.

One of my favorites...

"P" is for PREGNANT. Mandy and my new idea for the Kaiser bill board...

Did I mention that Leia loves bugs and has collected all kinds of awesome bug paraphernalia.

Goin artsy on your ass!

Just a little out take to show what a trooper Leia was. It has been one of the coldest early springs I have spent in Sacramento and Leia was so tough. She didn't even say she was cold once...

Mandy can get artsy too.

They said "we love to hike!" and we said "ok, then let there be hiking pics."

We were hoping this might move things along a bit :) See you guys soon!

Angie and Brady ~ Bridal + last minute engagment= super shoot!

A friend I hadn't talked to in a while facebooked me last month searching for a photographer. Her friend Angie was looking for someone she could trust to take some amazing photos. The concern was that the photographer contracted to shoot the wedding might not produce the photos of her dreams, long story short - we decided to do a bridal session topped off with a few photos of her and her man to insure she would have what she wanted. Mandy and I were so flattered that Stephanie contacted us as "the girls who could handle the job." We sure hope that this will forever help name her as best brides maid around;) Check out the beautiful Angie and of course her now hubby Brady.

These are two of my favs...

Angie has some seriously stunning eyes.

As always beatnik hitting home runs with its natural light awesomeness.

This is one of my favorite bridal head shots I have ever taken. Thanks 85mm fixed 1.2! I love you too.

She's not laughing at you Brady. You Stud:)

How do you know you're in downtown Sac? Random homeless peeps talking to themselves during your engagement session. Thank you for this real moment sir.

Usually they see this coming when I turn my back and start whispering "he won't even see it coming..." Ha! Not this time;)

Angie, please share your secrets. How did your up-do turn into the most beautiful down-do? Magic!

So after looking at these you can image how bummed Mandy and I were that we did not get to photograph this wedding. These two were married over the weekend and we will seriously want to punch the photographer if he didn't produce some amazing images from their day. Congrats you two! Hope you had an amazing day and these photos will forever remind you of all the excitement leading up to your wedding. Thanks for giving us a piece of the pie:)
