Meet the Gibson Family - Photo session Loomis, CA

I am so happy Mandy and I finally had the chance to photograph the Gibson family. This was the perfect time to return the favor for the amazing service that Dr. Gibson (my chiropractor) has provided for me in the last few months. In November last year Mandy and I were photographing a little girl in the bay area and while I was holding treats and "baby wrangling" as we call it I tweaked my back something fierce! For a couple months I just dealt with it. I guess that might be the stubborn athlete in me... It was an early morning in March when I attended a BNI networking meeting at beatnik when Dr. G saw me limping in and said, "you should really let me take a look." Starting to wonder if my back would ever feel normal again I took him up on his offer. Let me tell you if anyone needs a chiropractor I would refer you to Dr. G and his family practice in a heart beat. I am happy to say that after a couple months of treatment and adjustments my back feels as good as new! Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. G! Any who, in the midst of visiting their office a couple times a week, I finally hounded his wife Trish enough  to book this session and I am so happy she did. I hope you guys are in love with these photos! They are so cute and show the playful relationship your family shares.

I didn't realize Dr. G was such a ham. He was workin it every time I turned around, and man does he love his truck!

The fence lives to tell this story:)

Lol, love this one.
The girls
Lol, this one gets me every time... I told her to give her sister a smack on the cheek. Confusing I guess, but she definitely did not kiss her. Instead a little sisterly love with a back hand to the cheek! Oh boy...

Oh Yes we did... Look at those hops!

Who doesn't like sharing the cab with their person? Why do you think they don't put permanent center consoles in trucks...
Look at my huge hitch! Hella big Dr. G!
 Both of Dr. G's loves:)
It's not hard to tell the two things in life that Dr. G is very passionate about...

I love these last two. They remind me of the profile art that people used to make of their kids and frame. Can't wait to keep photographing these two as they grow up:)

Little Grace ~ 3 months old pictures

Mandy and I had the pleasure of spending the morning with some good old clients of mine, Pete and Alicia. This one dates back a bit... I used to work for a company called Lily Rose Photography back in the day and while working for them I got the opportunity to gain tons of experience shooting weddings and meet some awesome people. I rarely would ever see those clients again after I photographed their big day... Those of you who know me know that this was a hard one for me to bare considering the relationships I like to share with my clients. So, I was so pleasantly surprised when Alicia, one of my brides with Lily Rose gave me a ring to photograph their first baby. What a sweet family these guys have. Little Grace was still a little wary of our cameras but since we are documenting her first year I know she will be a pro in no time. Thanks for finding me you guys! It was so good to see you and meet the new member of your family. And a quick thanks to Debbie from Lily Rose for breaking me in the old fashion way with weddings every weekend in the summer :) You are truly a booking machine and I don't know if I would even be in the business of consumer portraits without your guidance. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We arrived at their home first thing in the morning to snag this shot of her big smile when she gets up. Babies are always so happy at this hour... I could learn a thing or two:)
A quick bath before pictures...
You should have seen my perch to get this second shot. I probably looked like spider man to Grace.

This is her Easter Sunday attire. How adorable is she!
Quite the little studier...
A little swing action before her clothing change.
 Working those leg muscles...
One of my favs of the day!
A girl after my own heart with those chucks:)

Tootsies
Summer is coming! Grace is ready.
Love the one on the left you guys are so dang cute.
